Poster awards for Noëmi Capdevila

Our PhD student Noëmi Capdevila has received several awards for the presentation of her research results.

The Swiss Society for Sleep Research, Sleep Medicine, and Chronobiology (SSSSC) supported her abstract with a travel grant to Sleep Europe, the congress of the ESRS. In addition, her poster was awarded twice, both at an Early Career Researcher Conference from the University of Basel and at the UPK Research Day. Noëmi’s research is the first to describe the effects of caffeine on sleep and sleepiness in adolescents who do not get enough sleep. These are the first results from an SNSF-funded research project (summary link) that is currently underway at our center.
